Approximately 40 miles south of Milan is the Oltrepò Pavese zone, where Cantine Francesco Montagna resides.

The family has been producing wine in this zone since 1895 and was among the first wine producers to be established in Oltrepò Pavese. The family has been transforming grapes into wine with increasing expertise and unchanged zeal for over a century. It boasts a long history in Broni, the ancient village with a great wine-making tradition. This territory produces universally esteemed red and white wines with superb bouquets. Today, Cantine Francesco Montagna vineyards cover over 20 hectares, producing 500,000 bottles annually.
